Almost three decades after winning a GRAMMY for Best New Artist and launching one of contemporary music’s most diverse careers, Bruce Hornsby, still makes joyful noise as he discovers clever and expansive ways to chronicle dynamic musical snapshots of his often generously collaborative journey.

Nothing better illustrates this than Hornsby’s communion with his longtime band, the Noisemakers. Expecting the unexpected, Hornsby & The Noisemakers’ live show showcases their freewheeling approach and years of rapport. Fargo fans will enjoy the addition of two new Noisemakers: Ross Holmes (fiddle/mandolin) collaborator with Mumford & Sons and Gibb Droll (guitarist) who jams with Brandi Carlile and Keller Williams.

Hornsby’s albums have sold over 11 million copies. His “The Way It Is” was the most played song on American radio in 1987. The prolific writer and three time GRAMMY winner’s career is often segmented into commercial, bluegrass, film scores and “by request” (favorite hits and influences). Numerous hip-hop artists, including Tupac Shakur, have even sampled Hornsby’s work.

Rick Springfield’s hugely successful Stripped Down tour comes to Fargo. Springfield’s Stripped Down performance includes music, storytelling and a special question and answer session with the audience.

With 25 million records sold, a Grammy® Award for his No. 1 smash-hit “Jessie’s Girl,” and whopping 17 Top-40 hits including “Don’t Talk to Strangers”, “An Affair of the Heart”, “I've Done Everything for You”, “Love Somebody” and “Human Touch”, Springfield has no intention of taking his foot off the accelerator. “I put everything I've got into making records,” he says. “Sometimes people think they have you pegged but I trust my music show them otherwise.”

In early 2013, Springfield collaborated with The Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl on the song, “The Man That Never Was”, for the Sound City soundtrack, “Sound City:  Real to Reel.” At the 2014 Grammy Awards the album won for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.  In May 2014 Springfield’s first novel, “Magnificent Vibration” was released marking his second publication on the New York Times Bestsellers List and he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Currently, he is finishing production on the Tristar film “Ricki And The Flash” to be released in Summer 2015 and co-starring with Meryl Streep and Kevin Klein.
