Guy Penrod performs at Bethel University

Seven-time Grammy and Dove award winner Guy Penrod will perform in concert at Benson Great Hall on the campus of Bethel University on Sunday, May 20, at 2 p.m.  The concert is hosted by Music for the Master, a non-profit organization created to facilitate bringing inspirational musicians to the Twin Cities. Tickets are $22.25 and can be purchased by calling 651-638-6333 or visiting www.musicforthemaster.com.

Penrod performed before more than 5 million people on Bill and Gloria Gaither's Homecoming Tours, including those in South Africa, Australia and Europe, and was featured on Gaither television specials airing on multiple networks. Now he's gone solo and brings his own style of country gospel music to Benson Great Hall. Although he loves Southern gospel and the multi-layered vocal stylings of the Gaither Vocal Band, Penrod's country roots run deep, too. In addition to his experience with Music City Tonight, he's also recorded with artists such as Kenny Chesney and Shania Twain, and recently debuted at The Grand Ole Opry.
